Women in STEM Day

On the occasion of International Women and Girls Day in Science on February 11, our team decided to create a video to encourage other girls to be part of STEM, which is posted on our social media.

In contemporary society women are still being discouraged daily from following their inclination and their dreams due to the aforementioned stereotypes. Nevertheless, an agonizing struggle has begun towards a more gender-equal society that will ensure equal treatment and equal opportunities for women at work.

Female representation in STEM has increased in recent years. Our school strongly supports STEM activities as well as the inclusion of everyone, despite gender, in the world of research and technology. By incorporating a STEM Center throughout all our divisions, new opportunities arise and new interests bloom. Every year we are a step closer to eliminating gender stereotypes, and achieving the 5th sustainable development goal 5, -gender equality-, which is not only a fundamental right but also a necessary foundation for a peaceful, prosperous and sustainable world.
